HOW TO LIVE HOLY EVERYDAY

 We know there are some believers that still struggle with sin day by day because of lusts. Our Lord in His mercies is calling on you today to turn away from them and forsake them. Do you say in your heart how can this be possible? Now here is how:

It is written in 1 John 3:9 that “Whoever has been born of God does not commit sin, for His seed remains in him; and he CANNOT sin, because he has been born of God.” The seed of God is His word by which a man is born again (1 Peter 1:23). This idea is VERY SIMPLE.

The simplicity is that as long as you remain in harmony with the seed, or the Word of God, you cannot sin. One who is born again and is devoted to obeying the Bible and refuses to sin cannot break the commandments of God. The reason given here for not being able to sin is that “His” (God’s) seed (Word of God) remains (abides) in him. That is, the born again person refuses to transgress the commandments of God and commit sin (because he knows them). AS LONG AS THIS CONSECRATION REMAINS, HE WILL BE UNABLE TO SIN. If he eventually grows cold in his love for the Lord, ceases to pray and CONTINUE in fellowship with the Lord through His Word, then he will be overcome again and he will commit sin by transgressing the Word of God. Please read1 John 2:1-5, 3:6-9, 2 Peter 1:5-10. Every Christian must prayerfully study and meditate on the Word of God, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit DAILY to be able to live above sin.

The power to live above sin is in the Holy Spirit which you already have.

You must also flee from every appearance of sin and evil. Quit going to places that lure you to sin. Quit watching and feeding your eyes and heart with things that tempt you to sin. Quit hanging around people that draw you to sin, whoever they may be. Forsake them all and follow the Lord. He will surely reward you and He shall do so speedily.

This is the light and understanding that you need. This light will always work in any believer that is willing to submit to the Holy Spirit to help him do these things. This light will always overcome sin. Nevertheless, in all these things, you must pray daily and continually without ceasing. If you have received these words by faith trusting in the Lord, then you have just received the knowledge to overcome sin. Now you have both the knowledge and power over sin. Therefore, go and sin no more and teach others likewise. May the Lord give you grace to do these things in His name. Amen.
