THE MINGLED KINGDOM: THE LAST AND FINAL EMPIRE

It is written in Dan 2:40-44 “ 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. 41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever...”

The scriptures above were God’s words spoken and written by Daniel the Prophet in the days that Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon had a dream for which he earnestly sought its interpretation. This we have already written to you in times past concerning the vision of the great image. In interpreting the king’s dream, Daniel prophesied concerning all the major kingdoms that shall reign on the earth from the days of Nebuchadnezzar as king of Babylon (606-535 B.C.) to the millennial reign of Christ and His saints at His Second coming (Dan 2:38-45, Isa 66:22-24, 1 Corinth 15:24-28, Rev 21-22). This prophecy was the sure interpretation of the king’s dream. God is merciful. He will reveal His secrets to His servants, the prophets.

In Dan 2:40 above, Daniel declared that a fourth kingdom shall come to power and shall be as strong as iron. Dan 7:7, 17-24, 9:26, Luke 2:1 and John 11:48 established this kingdom as the old Roman Empire. According to the word of the Lord, this kingdom was to be preceded by three kingdoms; hence it was called a “fourth” kingdom. The old Roman Empire from the days of Daniel was indeed preceded by Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece according to the word of the Lord. These were the three major empires that preceded Romefrom the days of Daniel. This fourth empire ( Rome) symbolized by two legs of iron (Dan 2:33, 40) was to degenerate in the end of time into 10 toes made of iron and clay (Dan 2:41-44). Dan 2:44 makes it very clear that these 10 toes are 10 kings that shall arise. It is also written in Dan 2:44-45 that the God of Heaven is to set up a literal kingdom on the EARTH in the days of these 10 kings. Are these things not also written in Rev 17:12-14 and Rev 19:11-20:7? By these scriptures, we understand and know that these 10 kings will be reigning on the earth in the days of the second coming of Christ and His saints, an event that shall be at least 7 years after the rapture of the church.

The 10 toes represent a revised DEGENERATE form of the old Roman Empire. According to the word of the Lord, this kingdom shall be ruled by 10 kings. Again, these kings will rule the world under the authority of the Antichrist. This will be just before the second coming of Christ ( Rev 17:12-14). This ten-toed Empire will also rule the world during the days of the tribulation and Great Tribulation. This Empire is to be destroyed by the stone from heaven. This stone symbolizes the Kingdom of Heaven headed by our Lord Jesus Christ who is the chief cornerstone; and who will, at His second coming subdue the kingdoms of this world (Dan 2:35, 44-45, 7:13-27, Matt 24:29-31, 25:31-46, Zech 14:1-21, 2 Thess 1:7-11, 2:4-8, Jude 14, Rev 11:15, 19:11-20:7). Is it not also written that our Lord Jesus Christ is “the stone” in Isa 28:16-17, Psa 118:22, Matt 21:44, Eph 2:19-22, and 1 Pet 2:6-8?

This ten-toed Empire is to be a conglomerate of 10 kingdoms to be ruled by 10 kings until the middle of Daniel 70 th week, until the rise of the Antichrist when all the 10 kings shall give their power unto him (the Antichrist, also called the beast) during the last 31/2 years of the 70 th week (in the Great Tribulation) to rule the world (Dan 2:44-45, 7:7-14, 17-25, Rev 13:1-18, 17:8-17, 2 Thess 2:1-12). According to Dan 9:27, the Antichrist arises at the beginning of the 70 th week of Daniel (about the last 7 years preceding the second coming of Christ) to make a peace covenant with Israel. According to Dan 7:24, he makes war with 3 of these 10 kingdoms and subdues these 3; thereafter, the other 7 submit to him without further war. This is the way the Antichrist will conquer the whole of this 10 ten-toed kingdom and rule them during the last 31/2 years of the 70 th week (Dan 7:23-25, 11:36-46, Rev 13:5, 17:8-17). Before he gets power over the 10 kings of this kingdom, they reign as independent sovereigns and form the 7 th kingdom of the Gentiles, also called Revised Roman Empire (Dan 2:40-43, 7:7-8, 23-24). After he gets control of them, they continue as subordinate kings under him (the Antichrist) for the last 31/2 years of the 70 th week after which Christ comes to establish His kingdom on the earth. According to Dan 7:24, these 10 kings SHALL arise and come to power before the Antichrist is fully revealed to the world to take it. They will reign before the Antichrist comes to power through them. Again, this final ten-toed kingdom will exist in the days immediately preceding the second coming of Christ and they will be destroyed at His coming (Rev 17:8-17, 19:11-21). This is the counsel according to the word of the Lord and we also bear witness that the counsel of the Lord shall be done.

Many today teach that this kingdom is the EU or the United States. This is impossible according to the word of the Lord. The United States is currently been used by God to prepare the way for these 10 kingdoms and they shall arise in due time. We testify of this by the Spirit of the Lord. The EU will be an instrument for this kingdom but this kingdom is neither the EU nor the United States.

According to the word of the Lord, this final ten-toed Empire also known as Revised Roman Empire is to be a divided kingdom, partly strong and partly weak, as symbolized by the two materials of the feet and toes. This fact is of extreme importance, for this is why the Lord revealed the true nature of this final kingdom. In this word is the first revelation that unveils this kingdom. Dan 2:41, 43 declares “ And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay…And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay ”. By this scripture, again we understand that this kingdom shall be a divided kingdom. There will be great dispute and division amongst the nations that make up this kingdom. They will not agree with one another. Because of this division, the word of the Lord declared this kingdom to be partly strong and partly weak. That they will mingle themselves with the seed of men suggests that the people of this kingdom will share a common base and values but yet they will not cleave to one another because of great divisions amongst them. So then, which nations shall consist this final divided kingdom? Which countries shall make it up? Are these things revealed in the word of God? Or do some men just teach from their hearts declaring what the Lord hath not said? What is the counsel of the Lord concerning this kingdom and which nations make it up? This we shall write to you in our next epistle and by the word of the Lord we shall know what is revealed.

Nevertheless, we beseech you all to earnestly watch and pray always for our redemption draws near. This we continue to say according as the Lord has commanded us. But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tries our hearts. Now God Himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you that these words find root in you and cause you to bring forth fruit unto holiness unto the Lord. And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you all that hearken to the truth. To the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now, Prepare, Watch, and Be Ready. The coming of the Lord is at the doors. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
